Hi Everyone,
We have just gone through a horrendously difficult time and a lockdown that may not be the last one. I hope you are keeping well and safe. I feel very fortunate that my self-isolation has coincided with staying at home with my little one and that the only significant change for me has been doing home-schooling with my older one. But after years of working and sending him to nurseries and schools, I feel really happy that I can spend so much time with him at last … and without feeling guilty (work vs home … you know what I meanJ). Despite of the extra work and despite of my little one having shorter sleeps, I still find time to paint which is great.
So here we are. The pink colour is still my favourite by far but I am going through a phase when I am adding other colours and experimenting with different colour combinations. Please keep following me as I am having so much fun making new paintings and I would love to know what you think and which ones are your favourites!
I have also taken out my gilding set and had a go in adding gold leaf to some of my paintings which was soooo exciting. For now, I am going to carry on experimenting with different colours and with different painting techniques. Let’s see what will happen. I am enjoying this freedom and I hope that what I make will make you happy too or at least will put a little smile on your face. If it does, let me know as I would love to hear about it.
